Meet Debbie Downie.
As someone who has taught art professionally for 34 years, I love to learn and I always try to enhance the joy of learning in my students. I enjoy seeing my students be successful, whether it’s the completion of their first art project or their fiftieth. That is the best part of teaching and is why I started Treehouse Studio .

Say hi to Suzie Pellegrini
Teaching art is my life. I taught art in the West Clermont Local School District for 35 years. During my career, in addition to teaching, I taught Super Saturday classes at the University of Cincinnati as well as various youth summer art camps for the school district. In 1996 I was honored to be chosen as the Ohio Art Education Association Outstanding Art Teacher for the Southwest District.
For several years I was a judge for Summerfair, and I have continued to teach in my retirement at summer camps as well as long term subbing in Forest Hills and Milford schools. I am a watercolorist , paint furniture and love drawing and pen and ink work. When I am not creating art you can find me in my garden where I love painting with flowers!!!

As a Ohio licensed visual arts teacher, teaching art was my career and it became my passion in life! I taught 37 years in various states, districts and schools. I enjoy the creative process when a child expresses themself through art work. Additionally, I taught after school art classes, summer art camps and art teacher in-services.
A big hello to Kelsey Downie Thueneman
Kelsey Thueneman is an art teacher at Mariemont High School and owns her own business creating and selling custom watercolors. She has been teaching for over ten years in both primary and secondary schools around the country. Kelsey loves exploring new mediums and techniques to teach in her classes. Debbie and Kelsey make quite the mother-daughter creative duo for Treehouse Studio!
